Factory Tour · Process principles

Keep the tube specification connected to its release records.

Review seamless steel tubes as a defined product and supply scope. Grade, dimensions, delivery condition and project documentation establish the route that must be confirmed for the order.

Nuclear-industry supply experience does not establish a blanket qualification for every code, class or application. Confirm the specific scope and supporting records for the project.

Define the requirement

Specify the tube and its delivery condition.

Grade and standard

State the material designation and governing specification.

Section and length

Specify outside diameter, wall thickness, length, drawing revision and dimensional acceptance.

Delivery condition

Define heat treatment, tube ends, surface requirements, protection and packaging.

Process principles

A specification-to-release route.

Confirm the responsible manufacturing and supply route before agreeing availability. Keep the delivered lot linked to the approved order requirements.

  1. Define the tube

Put the material, governing standard and supplied condition alongside the dimensions.

  2. Agree inspection

Define mechanical tests, NDT scope and applicable project inspection requirements.

  3. Link the records

Connect batch identification, material records, order references and the inspection certificate.

  4. Release and protect

Agree document approval, tube-end protection, separation and packing acceptance before release.

Verification and records

The acceptance package belongs to the supplied lot.

Dimensions and interfaces

Review the section, length, tube ends and critical mating requirements.

Tests and documents

Agree the test scope and document approval process for the stated product and application.

Traceability

Maintain the connection between lot identification, material records and release documentation.

Project review

Connect the route to your requirement.

Send the material or drawing definition, intended use and the acceptance records needed for review.
