Factory Tour · Process principles

Inspect the interfaces. Verify the complete assembly.

The magnetic element is one part of the assembly definition. Review shafts, housings, retention, polymers and containment barriers with the required magnetic function and operating conditions.

The producing site, applicable route and inspection scope are confirmed for the project.

Define the requirement

Start with one controlled assembly definition.

Controlled definition

Provide the assembly drawing and revision, BOM, supplied components, interface datums and critical dimensions.

Delivery boundary

Identify component manufacture, joining, potting, magnetization, inspection and packaging included in the finished part.

Process principles

Review the function at each interface.

Use the finished assembly drawing to connect magnetic function with mechanical interfaces.

Rotor · axis and retention

Relate the magnetic outside diameter to shaft datums, bearing seats and the retained stack. Review sleeve or bond interfaces against speed, temperature and assembly clearance.

Verification Agree runout, balance planes and field-mapping conditions.

Halbach · orientation and working region

Segment orientation concentrates flux on the working face and suppresses the back field. Fixtures and retention control segments during assembly.

Verification Specify working distance, mapped volume, mounting interfaces and field-map acceptance.

Overmolded · insert and polymer

Injection-molded polymer encapsulates the magnet and integrates mounting features. Define the magnetic insert, resin, exposure and molded interfaces together.

Verification Review thermal history, post-mold magnetic properties and finished-component sealing tests.

Coupling · two members and a barrier

Inner and outer magnetic members transfer torque across the containment barrier. Review rated and peak torque, speed, fluid, pressure and temperature.

Verification Confirm pull-out torque, duty and temperature conditions for design validation.

Custom · drawing and supply boundary

Use one controlled drawing to define component interfaces, joining, potting and magnetization. Identify customer-supplied parts and the required finished function.

Verification Agree assembly revision, test conditions and pass criteria before sample approval.

Verification and records

Verify the completed assembly against its definition.

Review before release

Tie the acceptance plan to the completed assembly and approved drawing revision. Define the measurement conditions and required records before approving a reference sample.

Confirm the route

The producing site, process route and inspection scope are confirmed for each project.

Project review

Connect the route to your requirement.

Send the material or drawing definition, intended use and the acceptance records needed for review.
